OUR TEAM

This is Tom, he is our oldest member of the Wild Wisdom team at 83 years!! Tom is a local treasure. In his early working life he lived in a simple hut on the Mitta Mitta river, up in the Bogong High Plains.

Tom is now our resident whittler extraordinaire and he brings the children much joy through his work.

Eva is a third year Environment & Sociology student at RMIT, who supports our Bush sessions. Eva was raised in and is familiar with our local Box Ironbark bushland. Eva loves bush walking, especially at dusk, where she once encountered a pair of Barking Owls feasting on a possum! Eva brings her love of music as a talented musician & a great capacity to be with young children with a calm & warm presence.

Laura is our additional Bush Kinder guide support. Laura has a warm & caring nature and enjoys looking at the world through the eyes of children with curiosity and play. She seeks to ensure children feel safe & free to explore the outdoors & their connection with nature. She enjoys guiding bush walks and canoe journeys. (Laura is currently away but will join us on future events this year).

Originally from Kansas City Missouri, Kris, her Australian partner, and their young daughter Eleanor, have relocated to Campbells Creek after seeking a tree change last year. Kris has a background in Communication and Technology. She has been assisting with the Wild Wisdom Bushbabies program infrastructure to help better support our families via digital touchpoints. She has a keen interest in the outdoors and hopes to learn more about the beautiful Leanganook Shire and surrounding bushlands.
